UWB positioning technology has become a hot spot for wireless positioning technology in the future due to its low power consumption, good anti-multipath effect, high security, low system complexity, and especially its ability to provide very precise positioning accuracy.


UWB positioning technology advantages:


UWB positioning is an emerging wireless communication technology with high speed, low cost and low power consumption. The signal is a pulse signal with a bandwidth greater than 500MHz or a ratio of baseband bandwidth to carrier frequency greater than 0.2. It has a wide frequency range. The FCC specifies a frequency band from 3.1GHz to 10.6GHz, and limits the signal's transmit power to below -41dBm.


It can be seen that the application focuses on two areas, one is the short-distance high-speed data communication that conforms to the IEEE802.15.3a standard, that is, the wireless transmission of large amounts of multimedia data without delay, and the rate must reach 100Mbit/s-500Mbit/s; and the other One is low-speed and low-power transmission in accordance with IEEE802.15.4a for UWB positioning.
